Hardin Pulls Double Duty For Lumberjacks!

Jr. Takes 3rd Place at AAA C.C. Meet

A night after playing defensive back and quarterback for the Lumberjack football team in their 49-20 victory against Lake Village, you would imagine a Jr. Dusty Hardin would have been a little tired. Not so much.

Hardin ran a 17:17 to finish 3rd in the AAA State Cross Country Championships held at Lake Hamilton. The race featured 111 runners, but the Lumberjack proved to be one of the best in Arkansas. Hardin's great run earned him All-State honors for the second straight year. Hardin also made the elite list as a sophomore by running a time of 17:58 in the state championships.

Hardin's hard work also earned him a place among the top 25 cross country runners in the state. By being named, Hardin will compete in an All-Star meet at Fayetteville, which will be ran November 12th, 2005. He will be competing against the best from not only Arkansas, but Oklahoma as well.

CONGRATULATIONS DUSTY!

whsathletics.org wishes him the best of luck on November 12th!
