The Jacks started their first round of the Fordyce Tournament 0-1 after suffering a heart-breaking loss to Dollarway Tuesday night against the Cobras of Fountain Lake. The Cobras came into the game as one of the premiere teams in AAA.

Warren came out in the first quarter determined to avenge their loss Tuesday and shot their way to an early 10-2 lead. The Cobras, however, would not go down without a fight as this would prove throughout the night. Even though the 'Jacks ganged up on Fountain Lake early, the Cobras made a game of it and ended up on top 25-23 at the end of the 2nd quarter going into halftime.

As the game resumed both teams came out motivated by their coaches. The two teams played hard and it ended with Fountain Lake still leading the 'Jacks at the end of the third.

In the fourth quarter, Warren made their move and started making shots when it mattered. They ended up on top of Fountain Lake 51-46 at the end of regulation which made the 'Jacks 1-1 on the season. This was a huge win for the 'Jacks over a very good basketball team after losing to Dollarway. The Lumberjacks advanced to the semi-finals of the tournament and will play the Monticello Billies at Fordyce, Thursday, December 1st at 5:15. Everybody come out and show Lumberjack support and cheer the 'Jacks past the Billies!
